Benjamin Franklin: Founding Foodie

Join us for a talk by Christopher Wearden, House Operations Manager, to discover one of Benjamin Franklin’s lesser-known passions: food. From his early years in Philadelphia to his later life as US Ambassador to France, Franklin consistently demonstrated an interest in the production, preparation and, of course, consumption of food. Chris will look at some of Franklin’s favourite foods and compare his tastes with those in modern day London.
